An Unexpected Review.

As I've often written, it's the stories I consider throwaways that often grarner the most unexpected praise. In this case, my Halloween-themed "Always Say Treat," available to be absorbed and dissected in the A Feast of Frights anthology. Black Static Magazine wrote the following in its review:

'Always Say Treat’ by Christopher Nadeau crosses Halloween with Shirley Jackson’s ‘The Lottery’ to give a

hellish version of every horror fan’s favourite festival, one made all the more minatory and disturbing

by what is not said or revealed.
